As we know, Pregnant women abound all around the world. The typical woman's workday cannot be classified into a single job function considering there are pregnant women in third-world countries who have no problem carrying water, weaving rugs, and selling their products in local markets. The female body was created to protect the new life within her. It goes without saying women become much more cautious during pregnancy to safeguard their new companion. Although we know life to be fragile, the human body - generally speaking - is far from weak.

Healthy pregnant women are capable of functioning just as anyone else. The only difference is, they are much more careful in carrying out their duties. Granted, I wouldn't recommend continuing high risk jobs that involve walking tight ropes, catapulting out of canons, or squeezing into a small vehicle with 30 other people. No, this should be left to non-pregnant professionals.

We all know that every job includes its own forms of stress. Belligerent people, too many phone calls, a micro manager, or even boredom are bound to stress anyone out. Needless to say, pregnant women can find ways to relieve their stress inducing environments. A simple walk, stretch, breath of fresh air, or a silent prayer in a local bathroom stall can help the pregnant woman control the desire to run home for bed rest.

Women whose health condition deteriorates during pregnancy or are advised of a fragile fetus are wise to limit their daily activities to essential needs. These activities should only include good personal hygiene, nutrition, introspection, and mild forms of entertainment. Essentially, promoting their good health becomes their job.

Women are known for their strength; often times referred to as the back bone of the family. The ability to care for new life from its conception to its maturity - nurturing their offspring even through adulthood, is worthy of recognition. Many can agree that no other job will ever be more challenging than that of motherhood.
